Microsoft is set to introduce a range of new AI features for Windows 11 users, integrating capabilities from its Copilot suite. One key feature is Copilot Vision, designed to analyze on-screen content. This new feature eliminates the need for external tools to capture content on the screen and share it. These new features will be rolled out in phases, with some exclusive to Copilot Plus PCs. Copilot Vision will be accessible through the Copilot app, enabling users to pose questions based on the content displayed. Copilot will also allow users to complete tasks such as improving the lighting in images. A recent report commissioned by Microsoft underlines that a majority of people utilize generative AI for work, business, and personal creative projects. The goal is to offer intuitive experiences to simplify routine PC tasks. Users with Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs can now access the AI agent through the Settings app. Furthermore, the “Click to Do” preview, available on Copilot Plus PCs, offers functionalities such as summarizing text, improving reading fluency, and enhancing pronunciation. Other updates include an AI-powered sticker generator within Paint, an object select tool to edit image parts, AI lighting options within Photos, and a tool for perfect screenshots.
