Ather Energy is considering adding cruise control to its 450 series electric scooters, with a potential announcement slated for the 2025 Community Day on August 30, 2025. Along with this feature, the company may also unveil a new entry-level electric scooter model. Updates for existing models are also expected to be revealed. Industry insiders suggest that the 450X and 450 Apex models will likely receive the cruise control functionality. This feature will be available via an over-the-air update to users with the Atherstack Pro software installed. The 450s, 450X, and 450 Apex make up the current 450 series.
