Kings’ dominance was evident in both their bowling and batting efforts. South Delhi Superstar faced a challenging match, experiencing their third consecutive defeat. Winning the toss and opting to bowl, Central Delhi Kings’ bowlers effectively dismantled the South Delhi Superstar batting lineup. The Superstar batsmen struggled to score against the Kings’ bowlers, with wickets falling frequently. South Delhi’s innings concluded at a total of 80 runs in 15.4 overs. Tejas Baroka of Kings delivered a standout performance, taking 3 wickets while conceding only 12 runs in his 4 overs. His consistent accuracy and intelligent bowling troubled the batsmen. Simarjeet Singh also contributed significantly, taking 3 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs. Together, they dismantled the Superstar’s batting. With a target of 81 runs, the opening pair of Yash Dhull and Siddharth June from Central Delhi Kings started aggressively. They built a partnership of 40 runs in just 4 overs. Siddharth June showcased explosive batting, scoring 32 runs off 10 balls, including several boundaries. After June’s dismissal, Yugal Saini joined Yash Dhull, and they easily reached the target. Dhull remained unbeaten with 29 runs off 15 balls, and Saini scored 12 not out off 12 balls, leading Kings to victory in only 6 overs.
