Google has expanded the availability of its AI Mode feature to Android tablets, several months after its initial launch on smartphones. This feature, found in the beta version 16.30 of the Google app, provides tablet users with the same Gemini-powered AI search capabilities found on phones. The larger display of tablets had previously presented functional limitations, but the newest beta update enables direct access to AI Mode from the home screen or Discover tab, thus improving the AI functionality on tablets and matching it with the phone experience.
