President Donald Trump has played a key role in ending the 37-year-old conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He facilitated a meeting at the White House where leaders from both countries, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, signed a formal peace agreement. This accord is designed to cease years of conflict and promote economic and diplomatic ties. In addition to this achievement, Trump has claimed to have previously halted six other conflicts globally. The agreement reached at the White House is intended to foster stability and cooperation in the region, bringing an end to decades of hostility. Trump had previously expressed his intention to solve the Russia-Ukraine war but wasn’t able to do so.
