The auction aimed to raise funds for the Ruth Strauss Foundation, which supports families impacted by long-term illnesses. The auction included jerseys of both Indian and English cricketers. The foundation, established by Andrew Strauss following the death of his wife Ruth from cancer, provides crucial financial assistance to families in need. Other notable sales included jerseys of Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and KL Rahul. The proceeds from the auction will directly contribute to the foundation’s efforts in aiding families battling serious illnesses.
