Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, paid homage to his late father, Shibu Soren, on World Tribal Day, resolving to continue on the path his father had shown. He offered his respects to all the heroic ancestors of the tribal community. Soren expressed that his father’s struggles, thoughts, and ideals would always be a source of inspiration. He emphasized that it is the tribal society that has shown humanity the path to living a happy life by integrating with nature. Soren also added that the World Tribal Day serves as a platform to bring together the rich civilization and culture of the tribal society and to showcase their talents on a global scale. He concluded by saluting the valiant ancestors and vowing to elevate the torch of tribal identity.
