The Next Gen e-Hospital system, alongside the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, is revolutionizing healthcare in the Bastar division. With the support of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Chhattisgarh’s healthcare is integrating cutting-edge technology. The e-Hospital system, implemented across multiple hospitals and health centers, centralizes patient services on a digital platform. This improves efficiency, transparency, and patient satisfaction. Key components of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission include Health Facility and Professional Registrations and the establishment of ABHA kiosks, facilitating digital health accounts. The ‘Scan & Share’ feature and ABHA ID-based online OPD registration have reduced congestion. The increase in ABHA-linked OPD registrations at local hospitals underscores the program’s success. These digital innovations also provide patients with accessible, nationwide health records. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai recognizes this as a model for the entire state, promoting better healthcare services and the vision of a ‘Healthy and Empowered Chhattisgarh’. This digital initiative represents a crucial step in connecting rural areas to quality medical care.
