
In a ceremony held this morning, Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal was sworn in as a permanent judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court. The oath was administered by Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha in the court. The event was attended by the entire bench of judges from the Chhattisgarh High Court in Bilaspur.
The appointment was formalized through a notification released on August 7, 2025, by the Department of Legal and Legislative Affairs, New Delhi, confirming Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal’s permanent status within the High Court.
Among the attendees at the swearing-in were prominent legal professionals, including Advocate General Prafulla N. Bharat, Deputy Solicitor General Ramakant Mishra, the President of the High Court Advocates Association, Umakant Chandel, senior advocates, members of the High Court Advocates Association, other legal professionals, and judicial officers from the Registry, Judicial Academy, and Legal Services Authority.
