Tesla is significantly increasing its footprint in India’s electric vehicle sector. The company is set to launch its second retail center, the Tesla Experience Centre, on August 11 at the WorldMark 3 campus in Aerocity, Delhi. This new location will serve customers in the National Capital Region, a key strategic area for India’s EV initiatives. The move comes shortly after the opening of the first showroom in Mumbai at Maker Maxity Mall on July 15. The Mumbai launch was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who welcomed the company and invited Tesla to establish R&D and manufacturing units in the state. The Aerocity center’s construction is nearing completion; the estimated monthly rent is about Rs 25 lakh. The brand’s premium image is already visible in online images. In India, Tesla currently offers only the Model Y, with a starting price of Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
