
Women in Ranchi, Jharkhand, have received their monthly financial assistance under the “Manyan Samman Yojana.” The state government has deposited ₹2500 into the bank accounts of eligible women for the month of July. The district administration announced the successful transfers on Wednesday. The first phase of payments involved the disbursement of ₹96,67,32,500 to 3,86,693 women using the DBT system. The distribution covers a wide range of areas within the district: Angara, Argora (Municipal Corporation), Bargain (Municipal Corporation), Bero, Bundu, Bundu Nagar Panchayat, Budhmu, Chanho, Hehal (Municipal Corporation), Itki, Kanke, Kanke (Municipal Corporation), Khalari, Lapung, Mandar, Nagri, Nagri (Municipal Corporation), Namkum, Namkum (Municipal Corporation), Ormanjhi, Rahe, Ratu, Silly, Sonahatu, Tamar, and Sadar (Municipal Corporation). Beneficiaries who have not linked their Aadhaar with their bank accounts are advised to do so immediately to prevent any interruption in receiving future payments. Verification processes are ongoing for women who are yet to be verified. Those with pending verification can seek assistance from their local Anganwadi workers by filling the necessary forms.
