Ramdas Soren, the School Education Minister of Jharkhand and a senior JMM leader, died at the Apollo Hospital in Delhi on Friday. He had been critically ill and on a ventilator for several days. Chief Minister Hemant Soren shared his condolences. Soren’s health deteriorated after a fall in his bathroom, resulting in severe head injuries and a brain hemorrhage. He was airlifted to Delhi for specialized medical care, but sadly, the medical team was unable to save him. His death has caused a wave of sorrow in the political and educational spheres of the state. The minister’s last rites will be held in his hometown. His son, Somesh Soren, announced the news of his father’s passing on social media.
