A most unusual event has taken place in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. A 9-month-old girl from Koyanar village, under the Parpa police station, has stunned everyone with her actions. The girl, named Manvi, encountered a poisonous snake and, mistaking it for a toy, proceeded to bite it, leading to the snake’s death. The infant, however, remained unharmed. On August 13, the child was in a room playing, while her mother was resting. A snake entered the room, which the child then picked up, treating it as a toy, and began to chew on it, resulting in the snake’s death. The mother, upon seeing this, immediately intervened and removed the snake, taking the child to the hospital. The family then brought the child to Mekaz Hospital in Jagdalpur. Doctors conducted tests and, after 24 hours of observation, confirmed the child’s safety and discharged her. Medical professionals suggest that the snake succumbed to the bites. The mother, Deepika, reported being scared when she saw the child and snake together. The incident has caused a sensation, with villagers now calling Manvi ‘the little lioness.’ The news is viral on social media platforms.
