
The funeral feast for Guru Shibu Soren offered an extensive menu of 12 dishes, catering to a diverse group of attendees, from regular people to special guests. The food selection included dal, rice, puri, a potato and pointed gourd (parwal) dish, mixed vegetables, fried fish, mutton, curd, rasgulla, gulab jamun, bundia, papad, and salad. In addition, pakoras, which were a favorite of Guru Shibu Soren, were also prepared. More than 200,000 people were accommodated, and the feast lasted until late at night. Separate sections were set up for vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren was present, interacting with VIPs, special guests, and the vast number of attendees, to learn about their dining experiences.
