Trent Rockets batter Adam Hose was forced to leave the field with a serious injury during The Hundred 2025 match against Southern Brave at Trent Bridge. The incident occurred towards the end of the first innings with only twenty balls remaining. While attempting to prevent a boundary from a powerful shot by Michael Bracewell, Hose lost his balance and sustained an awkward fall. The initial signs indicated a possible severe injury to his leg, potentially involving his ankle or knee, as he was visibly in distress.
Medical staff immediately attended to the player, and after a considerable delay, Hose was stretchered from the field. An ambulance was then called to the field to transport him to the hospital for further medical attention. Despite the injury to Hose, Trent Rockets secured a victory over Southern Brave by four wickets.
Initial assessments suggest a dislocated ankle, which could lead to a recovery period of six to twelve weeks. The extent of the injury and the need for surgery will be determined by additional medical tests. If surgery is required, his recovery could be extended, possibly impacting his availability for the remainder of the tournament and beyond.
