Before the procession, Dr. Yadav and in-charge minister Gautam Tetwal performed a ceremonial puja of Lord Chandramouleshwar in the assembly hall of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and participated in the Aarti. Following the puja, the palanquin of Lord Shri Mahakal was sent for a city tour at the designated time. The puja was conducted by priest Pt. Ghanshyam Sharma and other priests. Sanjay Agrawal, Ravi Solanki, and others were present during the puja in the assembly hall.
Flowers were showered from a helicopter on Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar. Upon reaching the main gate, Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar, seated in a silver palanquin, was showered with flower petals from a helicopter, as per the Chief Minister’s wishes. As Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar, seated in a silver palanquin, reached the main gate, countless devotees welcomed and greeted Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar. The procession was saluted by the soldiers of the Armed Police Force and the soldiers of various battalions of the state. A marching band of horse-riding troops and armed police force soldiers led the palanquin.
