
South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada will miss the upcoming ODI series against Australia due to an ankle injury. The injury occurred to his right ankle, preventing him from participating in the three-match series. Despite the injury, Rabada will remain in Australia for treatment, under the care of the South African medical staff. A scan on Monday confirmed the injury. The South African cricket board announced the news via social media. Kwena Maphaka has been brought into the squad to replace Rabada. Maphaka had an impressive performance in the T20 series against Australia, where he took nine wickets. The South African playing eleven for the first ODI includes Aiden Markram, Ryan Rickelton, Temba Bavuma (captain), Breetzke, Stubbs, Brevis, Wiaan Mulder, Keshav Maharaj, Prenelan Subrayen, Nandre Burger, and Lungi Ngidi.
