The state government has finalized the placement of selected young professionals in various government departments under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) program. An official directive from the Ministry details these appointments. The directive indicates that a total of 36 young individuals have been assigned to different departments. This initiative, the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship, aims to strengthen and improve good governance practices within the state.
This program spans two years and is structured into eight phases. The first phase involved a one-month academic session on public policy, facilitated by IIM Raipur for the selected participants. The second phase began on August 18, 2025, with the fellows being placed in various departments. This posting will offer them valuable insights into government operations and provide an opportunity to contribute to the execution of development policies and programs. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence is the coordinating body for this scheme.
