The red planet never ceases to amaze scientists with its secrets. In a new development, NASA’s Curiosity rover has located what appear to be structures similar to dinosaur eggs on Mars. These formations are embedded in the rocks of the planet, generating considerable interest within the scientific community.
The discovery was made in the ‘The Boxworks’ area of Gediz Vallis Ridge, situated on the slopes of Mount Sharp. These Martian rocks show features like veins and cracks, offering a window into the planet’s history when rivers and lakes were present. Their layered and elevated shapes suggest that there was past moisture that dried out over time.
