A murder investigation is underway in Ranchi, Jharkhand, after the body of Lumba Oraon was discovered near his village. Police were called to the scene and initiated a post-mortem examination. Authorities are investigating the death and have taken several individuals into custody. Shocking details have emerged, with local sources alleging that Lumba Oraon’s wife, in collaboration with her lover, is implicated in the murder.
According to reports, the wife was involved in an affair with a contractor. This relationship escalated, with the husband becoming an obstacle. To monitor him, the lover installed surveillance cameras in their home. The wife and her lover plotted to eliminate the husband.
When Lumba Oraon learned of the affair, a confrontation occurred. The wife subsequently moved out of their shared home and into a nearby rented accommodation.
On Wednesday evening, the wife reportedly lured her husband to a meeting. She then provided him with alcohol, and while they were returning home, the crime was committed by the wife and her lover. They disposed of the body to look like an accident. The wife then kept in contact with other family members to conceal her involvement.
The discovery of the body prompted police action. The police transported the body to RIMS Hospital for a post-mortem. The police are investigating the wife and other suspects. Police officials have assured that those responsible will be arrested swiftly.
