A peculiar event transpired after the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage on August 15th. An Alaskan resident, a retired Anchorage City Municipality firefighter named Warren, was presented with a motorcycle valued at ₹19.2 lakh by the Russian government. The connection to the summit stems from a pre-summit interview Warren gave to a Russian television channel, where he expressed challenges in obtaining parts for his existing Ural motorcycle. Following the interview, a Russian journalist contacted Warren, informing him of the gift. The gift was facilitated through the Russian embassy. The motorcycle, which Warren initially considered a possible scam, was ready for collection shortly after the Trump-Putin meeting concluded. The newly manufactured olive-green motorcycle was a product of the Ural motorcycle company, which was established in 1941 and now assembles its bikes in Kazakhstan, with distribution managed by a team based in Washington.
