A significant case in France involves the death of Raphael Graven, a video streamer known as Jean Pormanove. The 46-year-old’s death during a livestream has sparked widespread concern. Initially, the incident appeared to be related to online harassment and humiliation. However, the autopsy results have introduced new information. There were no signs of physical violence, and no injuries were found on Graven’s body. Consequently, law enforcement officials are considering the possibility of a medical condition or drug use as the cause of death. Graven was reportedly receiving treatment for thyroid issues and also suffered from heart problems. Prior to his death, which was broadcast live, Graven voiced his desire to end the abuse. Reports claim Graven endured physical violence and sleep deprivation. Viewers witnessed him become unconscious during the livestream, prompting them to contact the police, who later discovered his death. Allegedly, a viewer saw an individual throw a water bottle at Graven while he was unconscious. French newspaper Le Monde has stated that Graven participated in online content involving insults and violence. Authorities have indicated that he was subjected to persistent public abuse and humiliation in the months leading up to his death.
