Call history is crucial in modern times, not just for checking call details but also for various necessary tasks. Whether it’s personal or professional, there are times when we require the call details of a specific number from past months. If you’re a Jio or Airtel user and want to view your call history for the last 6 months, you can do this yourself. The benefit is that you won’t incur any charges; it’s a free service.
**Jio Users: Follow These Steps**
Start by installing the MyJio App on your phone. Log in using your Jio number and OTP. Within the app, you will find the My Usage or Usage Details option. Here, you can easily see details of calls, data, and SMS. Select the desired dates to view call records from the last 6 months.
To have your history sent to your email, send an email to Jio’s customer care ([email protected]). Include your number, name, and the time frame you need (e.g., January to June 2025). Your call details will then be sent to your email.
**Airtel Users: Use This Method**
Open the Airtel Thanks App on your phone. After logging in with the OTP, go to Manage Account and click on Usage Details. Here, you can view details of calls, SMS, and data usage. You can download the history by selecting a day or a month.
You can also call Airtel customer care (121) to request your call history report via email. You’ll need to confirm your email ID.
**Things to Keep in Mind**
Your Aadhaar/ID must be linked to the number to view the call history. Most companies only provide call history for 6 months. Call history includes the number, date, time, and call duration, but not call recordings. It is illegal to retrieve someone else’s call history.
