With a potential launch slated for 2025, the AirPods Pro 3 is making headlines with reported design enhancements. Among the changes, the charging case is expected to feature upgrades. According to insights provided by tipster Majin Bu, the new model will offer improvements in audio and connectivity, along with other design changes.
One notable change is a slight size adjustment to the charging case, as reported by an accessory manufacturer. Despite this, the visual appearance is not dramatically altered, according to available photos and dimensions.
The traditional pairing button is being replaced with touch controls on the case, similar to the AirPods 4. This will enable users to pair the earbuds and control music playback and volume directly through the case. Lanyard support is expected to continue.
The overall design will retain its familiar aesthetics, with subtle refinements to enhance the user experience. This design strategy aims to provide a familiar experience while incorporating new features.
