Quordle, a word puzzle game, challenges players to solve four five-letter word puzzles simultaneously, with a limit of nine guesses. Each attempt reveals color-coded feedback: green indicates a correctly placed letter, yellow signifies a correct letter in an incorrect position, and grey marks letters not present in the word. A practice mode provides unlimited gameplay, and new puzzles are available daily. Unlike Wordle, Quordle presents four simultaneous word challenges within a limited number of attempts.

Quordle’s History:
Quordle was developed by Freddie Meyer in 2022, inspired by Wordle and Dordle. It was subsequently acquired by Merriam-Webster in January 2023.
Initially, David Mah created the Quordle prototype. Freddie Meyer then refined the code, drawing from Dordle’s approach of solving two grids at once. Quordle launched in February 2022 and rapidly gained popularity, reaching one million players within weeks.
Merriam-Webster acquired Quordle in January 2023 for an undisclosed amount. Greg Barlow, the company’s president, said it was a favourite among employees.
