A makeover is underway for the Patna Metro, with the color scheme and design undergoing a revamp. The metro bogies will adopt a saffron hue, complemented by images of Patna’s significant landmarks, including the Golghar. The blue and silver bogies, sourced from Pune, are in the process of being repainted. The ceilings of the metro will be decorated with Madhubani paintings and other traditional art forms of Bihar, reflecting the state’s rich cultural tapestry. The metro will display visuals of the Golghar, Mahavir Temple, Mahabodhi Temple, Budhha Stupa, and the Nalanda ruins, both inside and outside the carriages, highlighting key tourist destinations.
