Union Home Minister Amit Shah honored the troops involved in Operation Mahadev in Delhi, which resulted in the killing of terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. Addressing the soldiers, Amit Shah declared that they have proven to the world that terrorists, irrespective of their strategies, cannot harm India and escape justice.
Home Minister Amit Shah, acknowledging the success of Operation Mahadev, conveyed his congratulations from Prime Minister Modi and the entire nation to all security forces for fortifying the sense of security among the citizens.
He pointed out that the Pahalgam attack was an attempt to disrupt the ‘Kashmir Mission’ when tourism in Kashmir was flourishing. While Operation Sindoor brought a sense of satisfaction, Operation Mahadev has transformed that into confidence. Operations Sindoor and Mahadev have made it clear to the masterminds of terror what happens when they threaten the lives of Indian citizens.
He asserted that the foundation of India’s drive to excel globally in every field is the confidence in security. The NIA’s FSL has technically confirmed that the terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev were responsible for the violence in Pahalgam. The soldiers have demonstrated to the world that terrorists can no longer hurt India and get away with it, no matter their tactics.
He mentioned that the Jammu and Kashmir Police is now actively participating in the fight against terrorism, alongside the army and paramilitary forces. Both Operation Sindoor and Mahadev evoked feelings of joy, enthusiasm, and appreciation for the security forces across the board, regardless of political leaning.
