
Money Grewal was the star performer as Central Delhi Kings defeated East Delhi Riders by 62 runs in a DPL 2025 match played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Grewal’s spell included a hattrick and a total of five wickets, dismantling the opposition.
After East Delhi Riders began their chase of 156, Sujal Singh was dismissed early. Grewal’s entrance in the third over was decisive. He quickly took wickets, including a hattrick, showcasing his skill and pace. He dismissed Hardik Sharma, Shivam Tripathi, and Anuj Rawat.
Grewal went on to dismiss Arpit Rana and Mayank Rawat, ending with figures of 5/23 in 4 overs. Aryavir Sehwag, son of Virender Sehwag, debuted, scoring 22 runs. Yugal Saini made a half-century, while Jasvir Sehrawat remained unbeaten.
Both teams have qualified for the playoffs. The victory placed Central Delhi Kings in first place in the points table with 15 points.
