TVS Motor Company has launched the Orbiter electric scooter, marking its entry into the competitive EV market. The ex-showroom price in Bangalore is set at ₹99,900. The Orbiter incorporates some design influences from the iQube while also featuring its own unique styling. Let’s dive into the features of this new electric scooter.
**TVS Orbiter Design**
The Orbiter presents a contemporary design. With a selection of color options, it stands out from the crowd, and its design cues give it a strong visual presence. The seat length is 845 mm, and the floorboard width is 290 mm. The handlebar design contributes to an upright riding position.
**TVS Orbiter Storage Space**
The scooter features 34 liters of under-seat storage space and a ground clearance of 169 mm. TVS has equipped it with a 14-inch front wheel and a 12-inch rear wheel. The front wheel uses an alloy design, while the electric motor is integrated into the 12-inch rear wheel.
**TVS Orbiter Battery Pack**
The TVS Orbiter is powered by a 3.1 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 158 km on a single charge, according to IDC standards. Two riding modes, Eco and Power, are available. Regenerative braking is also included. Details about the electric motor’s specifications and charging times are still pending.
**TVS Orbiter Features and Color Options**
The Orbiter is packed with features. It has all-around LED lighting, a USB charging port, and OTA updates. It comes with a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

The TVS Orbiter will be available in a range of colors including Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.
