Changes are expected in the BCCI with Roger Binny’s potential resignation from the presidential role. Vice-President Rajeev Shukla has been named the interim president. A meeting of BCCI officials took place on August 27th, led by Shukla, to discuss new sponsorship opportunities following Dream 11’s exit. Binny, who took over from Sourav Ganguly in 2022, is approaching the age limit outlined in BCCI regulations. He is likely to step down from the role.
