Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, will undertake a six-day visit to China, beginning today. A key element of the visit is participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin. The Prime Minister’s schedule includes meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to discuss the multifaceted dimensions of Pakistan-China bilateral cooperation. He is also slated to attend a military parade in Beijing, which is being held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese aggression and the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War. A Pakistan-China B2B investment conference will also be addressed by Sharif in Beijing.
