A gruesome murder case has emerged from Hyderabad, Telangana, involving a wife and her lover conspiring to kill her husband. Following the murder, they attempted to portray the death as a heart attack. The police have arrested the woman, but her accomplice has evaded capture. A formal case has been filed against both suspects, and the police are actively investigating the crime. The deceased has been identified as Jelela Shekhar, whose wife, Chitti, is the primary suspect. Chitti’s lover, Harish, is also implicated in the murder. The couple lived in Kodandaram Nagar, Sarurnagar, Hyderabad, and had been married for 16 years, raising two children. Shekhar worked as a cab driver to support his family.
During the husband’s frequent absences due to work, Chitti started an affair with Harish. The relationship blossomed, and an affair began. The affair remained hidden for a period, until Shekhar’s suspicion grew. He started watching his wife, eventually discovering her affair. Shekhar confronted Chitti about her infidelity. Chitti and Harish perceived Shekhar as a barrier to their relationship and plotted his murder. After working, Shekhar returned home, had dinner, and went to sleep. While he was deeply asleep, Chitti called Harish.
One of them strangled him, while the other struck him on the head with a dumbbell. To evade suspicion, Chitti contacted the police via dial 100. The Sarurnagar police arrived and transported Jelela Shekhar to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead due to a head injury. Shekhar’s body was then moved to the Osmania Hospital morgue. Chitti was taken into custody and interrogated. Initially, she claimed her husband died in his sleep due to a heart attack. However, under further questioning, she confessed to the murder, admitting to the plan with her lover.
