Introduced by the National Highway Authority of India on August 15, 2025, the FASTag annual pass has become a popular choice. It offers a solution for frequent travelers by enabling up to 200 toll-free crossings per year, doing away with the need to pay tolls individually. Frequent travelers are benefiting from this budget-friendly option, enjoying both time and fuel savings.
Specifically, the pass is applicable to private cars, jeeps, and vans, and lets them bypass user fees at select National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE) fee plazas. It remains valid for one year from activation or upon reaching 200 transactions.
