It is reported that she had been battling cancer for some time, and she died early Sunday morning. Her fans and loved ones are sharing memories of her. Priya died at her home in Mira Road, Mumbai.
She had battled cancer before, and recovered. However, it unfortunately returned and spread, and her body stopped responding to treatment. She passed away on August 31. She was married to actor Shantanu Moghe in 2012. Shantanu is recognized for his role as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Marathi show ‘Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji’.
She had also recently left the serial ‘Tujhe Mere Geet Gate’, in which she played Malati Monica, due to her health issues.
