
A new memorial complex, named Atal Parisar, has been inaugurated in Ward No. 22 of Sasa Holi in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to commemorate the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The inauguration ceremony was led by Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal and Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, along with Municipal President Chandrakala Khu Man Verma. The project, funded by 28.16 lakh rupees allocated under the infrastructure fund, includes a statue, granite flooring, and electrical enhancements. Brijmohan Agarwal spoke of the pride in the inauguration of the Atal Parisar and highlighted the contributions of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Tank Ram Verma praised Vajpayee’s leadership. Municipal President Chandrakala Khu Man Verma acknowledged the contribution made by the former Prime Minister to the creation of the Chhattisgarh state. Several dignitaries, BJP officials, municipal employees, and residents were present at the inauguration.
