
The Jharkhand cabinet, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, approved a total of 66 proposals during a recent meeting. Decisions encompassed various areas, including law and order, cultural promotion, and administrative enhancements. The meeting sanctioned the expenditure related to the 16th Finance Commission meetings. The Jharkhand State Road Safety Rules-2025 was given the go-ahead. The formation of academies for music, drama, literature, and fine arts in Jharkhand was approved. The Jharkhand Child Education Rights Amendment was also approved. The cabinet approved an ex-post facto withdrawal of 20 crore from the Jharkhand Contingency Fund. The formation of the Jharkhand State Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission-2025 was approved, enabling the government to effectively manage displacement and rehabilitation efforts.
