A significant landslide hit Sundernagar in Himachal Pradesh, impacting the Jangambag area. The incident involved the collapse of two homes, leaving multiple individuals trapped beneath the debris. Preliminary reports indicate that three people have lost their lives. Two more individuals from one of the houses remain missing, and another person who was in their car when the landslide occurred is also unaccounted for. Emergency responders, including the State and District Disaster Management Authorities, are actively engaged in search and rescue operations. The challenging conditions caused by the unstable terrain are significantly affecting the speed and safety of these rescue attempts.
