Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to the Bihar rally controversy, where alleged abusive remarks were made about his late mother. He took aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, criticizing them for the incident. Modi asserted that the slurs were not just directed towards his mother but also towards all mothers and sisters in India. Speaking to a gathering, the Prime Minister recounted his mother’s struggles and dedication to her family. He contrasted the experience of his mother with those born into privilege, implying that the Opposition figures, being from political dynasties, could not comprehend the challenges faced by an underprivileged mother and her son. Modi stated that the ‘naamdars’ (a term he uses for dynastic politicians) could not accept his rise to power.
