
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris SUV has been revealed, with its launch and pricing details expected in the coming weeks. The Victoris is designed to compete directly with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the Indian market. One of the most significant features is its ADAS, resulting in a 5-star safety rating. The Bharat NCAP crash tests have recognized the Victoris with this top rating. The tests covered several variants including the ZXI+ Strong Hybrid eCVT, ZXI+(O) Strong Hybrid eCVT, and ZXI+(O) 6AT, with the high safety rating applicable to all variants of the SUV.
Built on Suzuki’s newest Global C-Platform, the SUV incorporates a comprehensive suite of features. Sales will be managed through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena outlets, with a focus on general consumers. The Victoris will serve as a flagship product for the Arena division, supporting Maruti Suzuki’s strategic aim of improving its position in the Indian passenger vehicle market and responding to the rising interest in utility vehicles.
