The ‘Mirzapur’ web series has garnered a dedicated fanbase, with characters like Kaleen Bhaiya and Munna Bhaiya resonating deeply with viewers. While the third season received mixed reactions, there’s heightened anticipation for the fourth season. Simultaneously, the film adaptation, ‘Mirzapur The Film,’ is actively in development and is set to feature a star-studded cast. Mohit Malik, a prominent television actor, has recently been confirmed to join the film. While the film will largely maintain its original character lineup, it will also introduce new faces. Previously, it was announced that Jeetu Bhaiya (Jitendra Kumar) and Ravi Kishan would also be part of the film. Mohit Malik conveyed his enthusiasm for joining the ‘Mirzapur’ universe via an Instagram story. Mohit Malik has also worked on OTT platforms. ‘Azaad,’ a theatrical film released this year, in which he acted with Ajay Devgn and Rasha, daughter of Raveena Tandon, was not a success at the box office.
The film is expected to be released in 2026, with Gurmeet Singh directing it. Mohit Malik’s addition has been well-received by fans, recognizing his experience in multiple web series, including his recent role in ‘Chamak.’
