Leg-spinner Amit Mishra, famous for his ability to outwit batsmen, has retired. The announcement was made on September 4th. Mishra had been out of the Indian team and the IPL for a while and wasn’t involved in domestic cricket, which led to his retirement. He played 22 Tests, 36 ODIs, and 10 T20 Internationals for India. Mishra performed well in domestic cricket and the IPL. However, he didn’t get many opportunities in international cricket due to the presence of Harbhajan Singh and Anil Kumble. Mishra has 3 hat-tricks in IPL, which is a record.
