Meerut Mavericks have secured a place in the final of the UP T20 League 2025, scheduled for September 6th. The team achieved this feat after a thrilling Qualifier-2 match on August 4th. The key to their success was a phenomenal bowling performance by Kartik Tyagi, who bowled at a blistering 150 KMPH. He took three wickets against the Lucknow Falcons, including two wickets in a single over, changing the course of the match. Tyagi’s exceptional bowling also included a run-out, ensuring the team’s place in the final, where they will compete against Kashi Rudras.

Tyagi then dismissed Lucknow’s opener, Abhay Pratap Singh, providing the first breakthrough. The game’s turning point was when he took two wickets in a single over, showcasing his pace and control.
Tyagi’s final statistics included 3 wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs, with 9 dot balls. His brilliant bowling performance led Meerut to a 19-run victory, securing their spot in the final.
