With the aim of bolstering its military strength amidst increasing global complexities and the dynamics with neighboring countries, India’s Ministry of Defence has published the Technology Perspective and Capability Roadmap (TPCR-2025). This roadmap addresses the future needs and technological direction of the Indian armed forces. It outlines the framework for capacity building and technological development for the armed forces over the subsequent 15 years.
Prior releases of TPCR occurred in 2013 and 2018. The current TPCR-2025 offers an in-depth analysis of requirements across ground warfare, air force, navy, and joint technology domains.
