Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is currently receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital due to a decline in his health. Mann’s health had been a concern for several days before the decision to hospitalize him. After an assessment on Friday, doctors recommended that he be admitted for further care. Prior to his hospitalization, Arvind Kejriwal, the former Delhi CM and AAP convenor, paid a visit to Mann’s residence to discuss his health. A Congress MLA, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, questioned the choice of hospital, suggesting Mann should have been treated at the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali, which the ruling party has promoted as providing excellent healthcare. The Chief Minister recently addressed the ongoing flood crisis in Punjab by announcing the assignment of a gazetted officer to each village to streamline communication and assistance efforts.
