In response to the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, a considerable cabinet reshuffle has occurred within the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made substantial changes to the cabinet, assigning new responsibilities to numerous key positions.
Yvette Cooper has been selected as the new Foreign Minister, replacing David Lammy. Lammy is now the Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister.
Previously serving as Justice Minister, Shabana Mahmood will now take on the responsibilities of Home Minister. This includes managing significant areas, like illegal migration. This role was previously held by Yvette Cooper.
