
TVS Apache, a celebrated performance bike series in India, celebrates its 20th anniversary, a testament to its enduring popularity. To mark this significant milestone, TVS has introduced exclusive offerings for its riders, including limited-edition models and enhanced top-end variants. This underscores the Apache’s evolution, now representing a blend of power, performance, style, and cutting-edge technology.
The limited-edition lineup encompasses models such as the RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 200 4V, Apache RTR 310, and RR 310. These models showcase a refreshed design with premium features, including a black-and-champagne-gold livery, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a 20th-anniversary logo. A USB charging port has also been integrated to provide added convenience for riders. Pricing for these limited-edition models starts at ₹1,37,990 (RTR 160) and goes up to ₹3,37,000 (RR 310).
Furthermore, the top-end RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V variants have received substantial updates. These models now feature a Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs, a complete LED lighting setup, a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and voice assistance, a traction control system, and an assist-and-slipper clutch. A range of color options are available, including Racing Red, Marine Blue, and Matt Black for the 160 4V, and Granite Grey for the 200 4V, with prices ranging from ₹1,28,490 to ₹1,59,990.
The Apache series was first launched in 2005 and has since achieved sales exceeding 6.5 million units, with its availability spanning over 80 countries. The enduring appeal of the Apache is also bolstered by TVS’s racing technology.
According to K.N. Radhakrishnan, CEO of TVS Motor Company, the Apache’s success is a result of the trust of over 6.5 million customers. The company intends to explore new market segments and focus on enhancing the riding experience for riders worldwide.
