Authorities in Patna are dealing with a bomb threat aimed at the Takht Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib Gurudwara. The threat, delivered via email, stated that four RDX explosives were placed in the langar hall of the gurudwara. The email also included phrases supporting Pakistan and the ISI, creating a state of alarm at the site. The threat also contained warnings to evacuate all VIPs and employees. The gurudwara management promptly notified Patna’s SSP, initiating a police response. The police conducted an extensive search of the gurudwara, employing bomb disposal squads and dog units. The search yielded no explosives. The police are now working to identify the origin of the threatening email. The gurudwara’s president, Jagjit Singh, suggests the possibility of a hoax and confirms that the police are investigating, while the gurudwara remains on high alert.
