Flight Staff Abandonment
Passengers have reported that the flight staff, after immigration, instructed them to return as flights were canceled. They were not informed of any alternatives. When passengers refused to leave the airport due to the unstable conditions, the staff departed, leaving them stranded.
The passengers are expressing that they have no support and do not know where to go. The unrest is occurring a kilometer away from the airport. Despite the Indian embassy’s issuance of emergency numbers, no arrangements have been made to bring the stranded passengers back to India.
