Bajaj Auto, a prominent name in the global two-wheeler market, has announced price reductions for its vehicles in India ahead of the GST 2.0 implementation. The price cuts range between 20,000 and 24,000 rupees. These reduced prices will affect Bajaj and KTM models, considering KTM is a subsidiary of Bajaj. Customers will begin to benefit from these lower prices starting September 22, the date when the revised GST rates will be applied across India.
The government’s move aims to make vehicle ownership more accessible for numerous families and small enterprises that depend on affordable and dependable transportation options. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Limited, commended the government’s move to lower GST on two- and three-wheelers, calling it a bold move that will stimulate demand and boost the industry. Further price reductions are expected as the festive season approaches.
