Apple has introduced the iPhone 17 Air, replacing the Plus model. The iPhone 17 Air stands out as Apple’s slimmest iPhone yet, with a design measuring just 5.6mm in thickness. This model exclusively uses eSIM technology. It incorporates the innovative N1 networking chip and second-generation C1X modem, which mark firsts for an iPhone. The starting price in India is set at Rs 119,900, a notable increase compared to the previous iPhone 16 Plus, which launched at Rs 99,999. Pre-orders will begin on September 12, with the official launch and sales commencing on September 19. The iPhone 17 Air boasts a 6.5-inch display with 120Hz ProMotion and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, further protected by a Ceramic Shield. The device features the A19 Pro Bionic chipset, engineered for swift performance and multitasking, claimed by Apple to be the fastest in the smartphone market. Its camera setup includes a single 48-megapixel rear sensor, designed by Apple to expertly capture 2x telephoto photos at 12 megapixels.
